YMCA Casting Class / Fishing Excursion

This SMALL group trip is limited in size and includes highly specialized instruction.  The two-hour trip will do an in-depth casting class at our very own Dorsey Pond and then spend the remainder of the time practicing your cast and also learning fly selection and knot tying!  There are plenty of fish that you can practice trying to catch, this trip is perfect for someone looking to learn it all (from fly selection to casting) and also great for those looking to improve their casting skills from a local guide.

The Details:

• Trip Includes: fishing gear and all flies for the trip at no additional cost
• This trip is for ages 12 and older only (younger people may attend with guide approval)
• ​You must have someone sign up for the trip - either over the phone, via email or in person.  
• No fishing license required!  

What to bring: extra clothing (pants, sweatshirt, and socks), raingear (poncho or waterproof jacket), sunscreen, polarized sunglasses, tip for the guide, and as needed - water & snacks.
